Bespoke gift set honouring filmmaker Michael Hui at the 44th Hong Kong International Film Festival.

For the 44th Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF44), Two Moons Distillery was honoured to create a special limited-edition gift set celebrating the festival’s tribute to Filmmaker in Focus: Michael Hui.

To commemorate this occasion, we created a bespoke private-label gin featuring artwork by Yuen Tai-yung, one of Hong Kong’s most celebrated movie poster artists, widely known as the “Godfather of Hong Kong Movie Posters”. Through his distinctive illustrations, Yuen Tai-yung has helped shape the visual identity of generations of Hong Kong cinema.

The collaboration brought together different forms of Hong Kong craftsmanship — from filmmaking and illustration to distilling — celebrating the creativity and stories that have shaped the city’s cultural landscape.

For us, spirits are not only about what is inside the bottle, but also the stories, people and moments that surround them. This special edition was created as a tribute to the artists and storytellers who have contributed to Hong Kong’s rich creative heritage!
